Vastu Shastra

Nowadays, everyone wants to fix their Vastu dosha, without knowing anything about Vastu. In layman language, the defect related to an object or construction is called Vastu Dosh. Vastu shastra, tell the auspicious and inauspicious results of things related to any construction. It also explains the causes and remedies raised by a construction.

Vastu Shastra is an ancient science of India, in which detailed information has been given regarding the construction of house, work station, shop or temple etc. It is believed that the foundation of Vastu Shastar in South India is attributed to the great sage Mayan (who built elusive palace of Pandavas in Indraprastha) and in North India it is attributed to Vishwakarma (who built city for Lord Krishna Dwarka on a sea, in some texts it is also said that golden palace of demon king Ravaan was initially built by Vishwakarma for Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati).

According to mythological information, Vastu Purush has originated from the sweat of Lord Shiva. The dominance of Vastu Purush is pervasive in all directions. On the request of Vastu Purush, Brahma ji composed the rules of Vastu Shastra. Ignoring them is sure to cause physical, mental and financial loss to a person.

Vastu believe in the theory to balance the five elements Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Space. Vastu Shastra emphasis mainly to increase the positive energy to brings happiness and prosperity in the house. Directions have special importance in Vastu. Generally everyone knows that there are 4 directions East, West, North and South, but very few people knows that there are 12 angles in between these 4 directions like between North and East, North North East, North East and East North East also exists.  Accordingly modern Vastu works on such 16 directions which is cleary mentioned in Vishwakarma Prakash Granth.
